Explorer Program

Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Explorer Program

Beginning June 2021

  • Minimum age: 14 years old, no juvenile record
  • Must be in excellent physical health.
  • Must be good conduct and high moral character.
  • Must maintain a C grade average and be a freshman, sophomore, or junior starting Fall Semester 2021.
  • Must reside in Jessamine County.
  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher or school administrator.

2025 Tax Collection News

Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office is NO longer collecting on the “ORIGINAL” 2025 property tax bills & those bills have now been transferred to the Jessamine County Clerk's Office for further collection.  Taxpayers need to get in touch with the County Clerk’s office for any payment information on the “ORIGINAL” 2025 property tax bills.  

Additional School Board Billing 

Taxpayers can still pay the Additional School Board property tax bills at the Jessamine Co. Sheriff’s Office until May 15th at close of business or via mail (mail must be post marked by the post office on or before 5/15/26).

Jessamine County Sherriff's Office is no longer accepting payments on the 2021 Property Taxes and the 2021 Property Tax Bills have been transferred to the Jessamine County Clerk's Office for collections. Tax Payers need to get in touch with the county clerk's office for any payment information 859-885-4161.
TAX PAYMENT
